The hyper marketing of sports will take another step as American teams will be invited to compete against Champions League winners. This will be a redesigned Super Cup that UEFA would be trying to create, presumably. Serious discussions are underway to replace the current Super Cup with a four-team opening competition of the season.
The Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League champions will join this competition. The United States has seen a high regard for being a key development market for European football. Another possibility is to add the host nation champions to the match as a fourth team.
As far as is known, there have not yet been any serious discussions on the conduct of Champions League matches outside Europe. The Super Cup will be replaced by an opening competition starting in 2024 and this proposal is catching on as a way to increase revenue for both competing teams and European football as a whole by attracting new audiences with the aim of attracting more families and women supporters.
According to speculation, all possibilities and results are examined to make it a reality. Schedule matches at a weekend festival or have big pop stars play before or during intermission to attract American interest.

Arguments have been made that other sports, including the NFL, have played regular season games in London and have done so successfully. Further discussions will take place on Thursday and Friday during the European Club Association General Assembly in Istanbul. The organization is keen to foster an innovative spirit.
So let me know that the winner of the AMERICAN championship can win the EUROPEAN Super Cup, yes?

Netizens on Twitter have also commented on this and many European football fans are not happy with it. Some have argued that this is done to ensure American teams are the winners of a European competition. Many are not happy that MLS winners are also able to participate in the competition.
There are accusations against UEFA with statements such as ‘money makes them confuse’ and questions have arisen as to why African teams are not included in this new proposal. Speculation that Todd Boehly’s statement sparked interest in it has also increased from netizens on Twitter.
