AEW welcomed back a former United States champion last night
Many people are anticipating the launch of AEW Collision in the coming weeks, but which former WWE United States Champion could play a significant role in the new program?
Former TNT Champion Miro, who made an unexpected return to AEW on the May 10 episode of Dynamite, is the answer. He was seen doing this as he entered Tony Khan’s office. Dave Meltzer thinks The Redeemer’s appearance could portend a significant role in AEW’s upcoming series, Collision, even though Miro hasn’t competed since the All Out pay-per-view in September 2022.
It’s safe to assume that fans will learn what Miro and Tony Khan discussed in the coming weeks, though he hasn’t yet revealed what they talked about.
Speculations arise: Could AEW Collision play a role in Tony Khan’s upcoming major announcement?
Thunder Rosa unexpectedly returned to the organization by joining the Redeemer in Tony Khan’s office after Miro broke into his office. Thunder Rosa previously held the AEW Women’s Championship. To let everyone know that she will be making a significant reveal on the May 17 episode of the show, the president of All Elite Wrestling has decided to appear on Dynamite.
Khan emphasized that the organization has the ability to create a ton of fresh material and that the entire All Elite Wrestling roster will be announced on the show the following week.
Many have speculated that the announcement will coincide with Warner Bros. Discovery’s upfront presentation at Madison Square Garden the following day, where a deal between AEQ and WBD is expected to be disclosed.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW), an American professional wrestling promotion, produces the weekly AEW wrestling show Collision. The program highlights AEW wrestlers in matches, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. It debuted on January 27, 2021.
The program gives the AEW roster a stage on which to showcase their skills and interact more directly with fans. Collision is part of AEW’s ongoing efforts to grow its brand and give fans access to additional programming beyond its flagship show, AEW Dynamite.
