A funny moment between Nick Kyrgios and Taylor Fritz

Nick Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios has given us many memorable moments on court with his skills and hilarious commentary. In this video, he does just that by telling Taylor Fritz how he played.

Kyrgios and Fritz teamed up at the 2019 Indian Wells Masters and were definitely an interesting pairing to watch. Dominique defeated Thiem and Steve Johnson in the round of 32.

Kyrgios is definitely a confident player and often talks about his skills as well as showing off his skills. He did exactly that in his doubles match, commenting on how well he was playing, saying he was playing like Novak Djokovic.

«Well, nobody serves that speed, except you,» Kyrgios said.

But everyone is coming back fine. I didn’t miss a comeback. I’ll literally be back as Novak. [Djokovic]. I can’t serve now but I’m returning like Novak. Just at break points, I’m hitting the most ridiculous answers. Like a laser beam.

Kyrgios will forever be remembered for his reactions and skills on the court. However, if he had put more effort into his personal life, he could have become one of the greatest players of all time.

The 25- and 27-year-olds showed their lethality on the court, producing four aces and zero double faults. The pair had an exceptional match with Thiem and Johnson posting 6/12 break points.

The same can’t be said for Johnson and Tim, they were rarely the same as their opponents. The pair struggled with their serves, producing zero aces and three double faults. They also made 3/7 mistakes on their break points.

Both winners played good returns but it was Kyrgios and Fritz who came out on top 5-7, 1-6.

Unfortunately for the Australian-American duo, they fell after losing to Marcelo Melo and Lucas Kubot in the round of 16. The pair battled hard but narrowly lost in the end, winning 6-4, 1-6, 10-8.

Kyrgios is currently sidelined with an injury, but his return date has not been announced. But fans will be happy to know that he is recovering well and will be back in tennis in the coming months.

Fritz is currently pushing for his first BMW Open title and will face Bottic van de Zandschulp in the semi-finals later today.
