Carlos Alcaraz is just one match away from successfully defending his Barcelona Open title.
Alcaraz defeated Dan Evans 6-2, 6-2 in quick fashion to set up a final against second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Alcaraz will head into the final with a 3-0 lead over TCS with high confidence and in the hunt for their third title of the season.
“I’m very comfortable playing here in Barcelona. [I am] Playing well,” Carlos Alcaraz said after his game against Evans. “Stephen is also playing good games. Let’s say we had a spicy match last year. «I know he is a very good person off the court, so I will try to forget everything that happened in the previous games, focus on my game tomorrow and win.»
Despite the difficult conditions during the week, Alcaraz found it difficult to fit in the clay of Barcelona, which he considers one of his favorite stops on the tour.

Tsitsipas won 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 against Lorenzo Musetti.
«It was very physical there,» Tsitsipas said.

Tsitsipas went on to win the championship match in Barcelona for the first time in his third attempt.
