Man Utd have reportedly made a decision on whether to «cash in» Jadon Sancho during this summer’s transfer window.
Sancho has finally completed his move to the Red Devils in 2021 for a fee of around £73m from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
The 23-year-old has struggled since completing his move to Old Trafford as he managed just ten goals and five assists in 69 games in all competitions.
English was not available for a few months earlier this season as suffered a decline in «fitness and mood», according to Erik ten Hag.
Sancho has returned to the fold in recent months but is still criticized for his below par performances. Club legend Gary Neville thinks he’s being too «inconsistent».
The winger scored a penalty as Man Utd beat Brighton on penalties at Wembley over the weekend in the FA Cup semi-finals. Hopefully this will give them a boost ahead of the final games of the 2022/ 23.
Former United player Louis Saha thinks Sancho’s «main problem» is that he «thinks too much».
“He has to fight, he has to give more and he knows it. He should be hurt by criticism regarding his performance and despite having so much quality, perhaps the main problem with him is overthinking what the opposition will do,” Saha told Betfred.
“Players like Jadon need arrogance to perform and show their quality and I’m still a huge supporter of him and it’s not fair to assume he won’t start producing. He is a brilliant player but he mentally he has to stop thinking so much. He needs to believe in his body, his speed and his teammates.
“When your teammates are less creative or tired during a match, then you look for players like Jadon to perform. Jadon needs to get back to the basics of his game, not overthink things and naturally things should start going his way.”

Journalist Ben Jacobs has highlighted «rumors of Man Utd cashing in» on Sancho but does not believe he will be sacked in the summer.
“I know we have heard a lot of rumors that Manchester United may be cashing in somehow, in order to generate funds because obviously they are looking at a pretty big outlay, particularly with a more defined striker. But I don’t think that’s the case at this point,” Jacobs told GiveMeSport.
“Sancho has been given a clear challenge to get consistent playing time, keep fit and get back to his best and worth his price. And then, after a slightly longer period of time balanced with any other inputs in and around his position, things will be evaluated yet again.
