Man Utd have been told they should sign Marcel Sabitzer on a permanent deal this summer as Alexis Mac Allister may not fit into Erik ten Hag’s system.
Sabitzer has performed well for Man Utd over the last couple of months. He joined the club on loan in January from German giants Bayern Munich.
His loan deal doesn’t include an option to buy, so United will need to negotiate with Bayern Munich if they want to sign him on a permanent basis.
Recent reports have indicated that it will cost around £25m this summer. Former United player Paul Parker «wouldn’t argue» if his former club jumped out to acquire Sabitzer permanently.
“I would say Manchester United should sign Sabitzer on a permanent contract. He has said several times that he is not happy with the way he has been treated at Bayern Munich and I don’t think it is a good club to be at even if everything looks rosy,» Parker told Indiabetting.
“He’s played great when given the chance and in some ways it’s a shame he doesn’t have more playing time because he’s a really good player. But I think he’s happy with how he’s been treated at Manchester United, which is a stark contrast to his miserable spell at Bayern Munich.
“He is a very disciplined player and I enjoy watching him. I certainly wouldn’t argue about signing him to Manchester United. Of course, he wants to be at a club where he feels wanted and I can imagine being at Bayern Munich is tough.»

Man Utd are expected to strengthen in midfield this summer and Brighton’s Mac Allister is believed to be among their targets.
The £62m World Cup winner is also linked with a move to Liverpool.
Parker thinks Mac Allister is an «excellent player» but explained why he thought the midfielder might not be an ideal signing for Ten Hag.
“Not sure about MacAllister for Manchester United. I think he’s an excellent player and I enjoy watching him, but the way he plays Brighton suits him perfectly,» added Parker.
“He plays for one of the best teams in the league and except for Man City they are the team in the best form, especially when you look at how well they are playing even though they were robbed by the referees against Tottenham.
“He has to play for a team that controls the games. You can’t ask him to chase. It could work at Manchester United but I’m not sure and I don’t want him to make the wrong decision because I really believe he has a great future ahead of him.
